Abstract

This study examines consumer acceptance of a cashless parking payment system at Duta Mall Palangka Raya by drawing on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. Specifically, it investigates the extent to which perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness predict users' intention to adopt the system, while also evaluating the mediating function of attitude toward using within these relationships. Employing a quantitative associative design, data were gathered through an online questionnaire distributed to 96 mall visitors selected via probability sampling based on Cochran's formula. Structural equation modelling through Partial Least Squares (PLS) in SmartPLS version 3 was applied for hypothesis testing. Findings indicate that perceived ease of use significantly determines intention to use, whereas perceived usefulness yields no statistically significant direct effect. Attitude toward using partially mediates both relationships. These results highlight that enhancing interface usability is a critical pathway through which positive user attitudes are formed, ultimately driving greater adoption of cashless parking payment technology.
