Qurseey: An International Journal of Interdisciplinary Qur’anic Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal publishing original scholarly research on the Qur’an from interdisciplinary perspectives across the humanities and social sciences.

Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
2. Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English. Authors are responsible for language quality prior to submission.
3. Manuscript Structure

4. Formatting

5. Abstract and Keywords
The abstract should clearly state the research problem, methodology, main findings, and scholarly contribution.
6. Citation and Reference Management
Qurseey uses the APA 7th edition referencing style.
All citations and references must be generated using a reference management tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote, or equivalent software. Submissions that do not comply will be returned for technical correction prior to review.
7. Transliteration Policy
Arabic terms and names must be transliterated according to the IJMES (International Journal of Middle East Studies) transliteration system.
- Diacritics should be used consistently.
- Commonly Anglicized terms (e.g., Qur’an, hadith, sharia) do not require diacritics.
- Arabic script may be provided in parentheses at first occurrence if necessary.
Authors are responsible for ensuring consistency and accuracy of transliteration throughout the manuscript.

10. Ethical Standards
Authors must ensure originality, absence of plagiarism, proper acknowledgment of sources, and disclosure of conflicts of interest.
11. Peer Review
Qurseey uses a double-blind peer review system. Please remove author-identifying information from the manuscript file.
12. Submission Process
All manuscripts must be submitted through the Qurseey online submission system (OJS).
13. Open Access and Copyright
No submission or publication fees are charged. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license.
14. Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off that their submission complies with all of the following:
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by another journal (or an explanation is provided to the editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.docx), OpenOffice, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
- All citations and references were generated using reference management software.
- Where available, URLs or DOIs for references have been provided.
- The text uses a 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing, italics instead of underlining (except for URLs), and all tables and figures are placed within the text at appropriate points.
- The manuscript follows the journal’s transliteration policy (IJMES).
- The instructions for ensuring a double-blind review have been followed.
Submissions that do not meet these requirements may be returned to authors prior to review.
