Qurseey: Journal of Interdisciplinary Quranic Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the scholarly exploration of the Qur’an through interdisciplinary approaches. The name Qurseey is derived from the Arabic word “Kursi” (كرسيّ), meaning “throne” or “seat of authority”. Symbolizing divine knowledge and cosmic sovereignty, this title reflects the journal’s commitment to positioning the Qur’an as a foundational epistemology for intellectual inquiry across diverse fields. |
The journal provides a platform for original research articles, critical essays, and conceptual studies that examine the Qur’an through the lenses of social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, technology, linguistics, philosophy, gender studies, education, and other relevant disciplines. Qurseey encourages integrative scholarship that bridges Qur’anic values with contemporary academic frameworks, fostering dialogue between classical Islamic knowledge and modern scientific discourse. Qurseey is published biannually and accepts manuscripts in both English and Indonesian. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure scholarly rigor, originality, and academic integrity. |
