Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Smart Education and Learning must align with the journal’s focus, scope, and author guidelines. Submissions must demonstrate scientific merit, originality, and be free from plagiarism. Authors are strongly encouraged to perform similarity checks prior to submission, while the editorial team screens all manuscripts using Turnitin.

All research articles published in this journal undergo a full double-blind peer review process, the key characteristics of which are outlined below:

  • All manuscripts are reviewed by at least two suitably qualified expert reviewers.
  • Reviewers provide constructive and valuable scientific feedback to improve the quality of the manuscript.
  • Editors ensure the integrity of the double-blind peer review process while maintaining rapid turnaround and maximum efficiency for authors and reviewers.
  • The Editors or Editor-in-Chief make the final decision on article acceptance based on the reviewers’ recommendations.
  • Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for publication by the Editor-in-Chief, taking into account the acceptance date and the geographical diversity of authors.

Editors will decide promptly whether to accept, reject, or request revisions of referred papers based on the reviews and editorial insight of the supporting journals. Additionally, Editors will have the option to seek additional reviews when needed. The authors will be advised when the Editors decide further review is required.
