Declaration of Gen AI
Authors must declare any use of generative AI in the writing of their manuscripts at the time of submission. The following provisions apply khusus to the writing process and do not regulate the use of AI-based tools for data analysis or for generating research ideas:
Generative AI and AI-assisted applications may only be used to improve the clarity, readability, and language quality of the manuscript.
These tools must be used under the close supervision of the authors, who are required to carefully check and revise all AI-generated output, as such tools can produce text that appears convincing but may contain errors, omissions, or bias. Authors retain full responsibility and accountability for every part of the content.
AI systems and AI-assisted technologies cannot be listed or cited as authors or co-authors, because authorship involves academic and ethical responsibilities that only humans can carry.
Authors must explicitly state their use of generative AI or AI-assisted tools in the writing process by including a declaration at the end of the manuscript at initial submission. This declaration will appear in the published version of the article and should be placed in a new section before the reference list. The required format is as follows:
-
Title of new section: Declaration of Generative AI and AI-Assisted Technologies in the Writing Process
-
Statement: During the preparation of this work, the author(s) used [NAME OF TOOL/SERVICE] for [REASON]. After utilizing this tool/service, the author(s) thoroughly reviewed and edited the content as necessary and take full responsibility for the final content of the published article.
This declaration is not required for the use of basic tools such as spelling or grammar checkers and reference management software. If no generative AI or AI-assisted technologies were used in the writing process, no statement is needed.
Note: To safeguard author confidentiality and intellectual property, this journal currently prohibits reviewers and editors from using generative AI or AI-assisted tools (such as ChatGPT) during the peer review and manuscript assessment process. The journal is in the process of exploring AI tools that comply with ethical and legal standards and may revise this policy in the future.
