Stunting remains one of the nutritional issues that requires serious attention because it impacts physical growth, cognitive development, and the quality of human resources. One preventive measure that can be implemented at the community level is to empower mothers’ groups through local food diversification. This community service activity aims to improve mothers’ knowledge about stunting prevention through the diversification of local foods in Ulu Sawa Village, North Konawe. The methods used include education and mentoring for groups of mothers through outreach sessions on stunting, the importance of balanced nutrition, and the utilization of local foods as a source of nutritious food for children and families. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests to measure changes in participants’ knowledge levels before and after the activity. The results of the community service program showed an increase in mothers’ knowledge following the program’s implementation. These results indicate that the implemented community service program was effective in increasing mothers’ knowledge of stunting prevention. Thus, empowering mothers’ groups through the diversification of local foods can serve as a relevant and sustainable strategy in supporting efforts to prevent stunting at the village level.
La Ode Liaumin AzimPitrah AsfianLade Albar KalzaLa Ode Ahmad SaktiansyahAgnes Mersatika HartoyoKamrin Kamrin

https://journal.nurscienceinstitute.id/index.php/tintamas/article/view/3445

This community service initiative aims to enhance the competence of final-year students at the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab, and Humanities, UIN Salatiga, in reference management and plagiarism checking through training on the use of Mendeley and Turnitin applications. The challenges faced by students include difficulties in systematically compiling citations and bibliographies, as well as a limited understanding of the importance of maintaining the originality of scholarly work. The activity employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, comprising stages of needs identification, training, hands-on practice, and mentoring. The training material covered reference management with Mendeley and the assessment of manuscript similarity with Turnitin. The results indicate an improvement in participants' abilities to manage citations and bibliographies automatically, check for manuscript similarity, and understand corrective measures to minimize plagiarism. Concretely, this activity helped students improve the quality of their final projects, accelerate the scholarly writing process, reduce citation errors, and raise awareness regarding academic ethics and scholarly integrity. Thus, this training and mentoring program serves as a model for sustainable enhancement of academic literacy, supporting improvements in the quality of students' scholarly work within the university environment.
Siti MuhtamirohSari FamularsihElka Melviyana

The rapid expansion of digital technology has increased children's exposure to smartphones, the internet, and digital media, creating both learning opportunities and risks, including harmful content, internet addiction, cyberbullying, and reduced family interaction. This community service program aimed to strengthen parents' understanding of digital parenting to support children's character development in the digital era. The program was conducted on September 10, 2025, at Tegalaampel Village Hall and involved 113 parents and guardians of students from MIM Tegalaampel. The intervention consisted of a parenting seminar and interactive discussions covering digital literacy, family communication, guidelines for managing children's screen time and digital content, gadget-free quality time, positive discipline through rewards and consequences, and strengthened collaboration between families and schools. The program improved participants' understanding of effective digital parenting practices and strategies for managing children's technology use while fostering positive character development. These findings suggest that enhancing parental capacity through digital parenting education and sustained family–school collaboration provides an effective approach to strengthening children's character in the digital age.
Choirun NisaMuhamad Taufik Hidayat
