Pelatihan penggunaan Canva bagi guru guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SMP Katolik Don Bosco Semboro, Kabupaten Jember

Creating engaging teaching materials is an essential aspect of the learning process. However, this isn't easy to achieve in the field at present, including at Don Bosco Catholic Junior High School in Semboro. One reason is that the academic community struggles to obtain engaging teaching materials. One way to solve this problem is by designing teaching materials. To solve this problem, the community service team proposed providing Canva usage training for the academic community of Don Bosco Catholic Junior High School in Semboro. This training is conducted using the demonstration method. The first step was to provide detailed instructions for accessing Canva accounts and using its various features. The next step was to have participants practice using Canva to create engaging teaching materials. The results of this training using the demonstration method show that participants were able to produce engaging teaching materials in Canva by the end of the training.

Meningkatkan nilai tambah perekonomian lokal melalui pengembangan agrowisata dan inovasi produk jambu di Ngargoyoso Karanganyar

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to increase the value added of Puja red guava and strengthen farmers’ independence in Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar Regency, through the development of agrotourism, innovation in processed products, and the implementation of marketing strategies. However, red guava production has the potential to support local economic growth, but marketing remains dominated by fresh fruit sales and dependence on middlemen, resulting in low economic returns for farmers. This program applied a participatory approach consisting of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Participatory Action Research (PAR), and Community-Based Research (CBR). SWOT analysis was used to assess the sustainability of Puja Red Guava Agrotourism. The PkM program findings indicate that strengths in raw materials availability and product uniqueness, while weaknesses include managerial capacity and limited market access. External threats include price fluctuations and the conversion of land into restaurants. However, the development arises from advances in digital technology, the use of social media, wider marketing reach, and government support for MSME development. Overall, this program demonstrates strong potential for business diversification, increased bargaining power, and sustainable agrotourism development in Ngargoyoso.

Penguatan promosi pariwisata Desa Wisata Kandri melalui pelatihan pembuatan booklet informatif

This community service project aimed to improve the capacity of Kandri Tourism Village residents in promoting local potential through digital booklet design training using Canva. The program was initiated in response to the limited quality of visual promotional materials and the lack of access to design training in the village. The training was delivered using a participatory and collaborative approach, covering needs assessment, technical training, content development, booklet production, and evaluation. The results indicated a notable improvement in participants' ability to structure promotional narratives, apply basic visual design principles, and independently use Canva for media creation. Moreover, the training enhanced community confidence in presenting Kandri’s tourism attractions in a more informative and engaging format. This program demonstrates that simple, digital-based training can serve as an effective strategy to strengthen community involvement in tourism village promotion

Peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan berbasis lanskap kejepangan bagi masyarakat Desa Wisata Lerep, Kabupaten Semarang

This community service activity was driven by the need to increase environmental awareness in the Lerep tourist village, Semarang Regency, Central Java. Given the extraordinary natural potential of the Lerep tourist village, environmental awareness still needs to be maintained amidst environmental issues and climate change. The goal of this activity is to increase awareness and knowledge of the Lerep tourist village community about environmental conservation, as well as provide practical skills in sustainable environmental management, particularly in maintaining the natural beauty of the Japanese landscape. The methods used in this training include lectures, interactive discussions involving the community, stakeholders, and students, and product creation. The results of this community service activity are increased environmental awareness in the community, the implementation of Japanese culture-based environmental awareness training, and the production of environmental awareness education brochures as a sustainable campaign medium, which is expected to contribute significantly to increasing tourist visits that have a positive impact on the environment and the local economy.

Membangun karakter remaja: Pendidikan moral sebagai kebutuhan dalam pencegahan bullying di SMP Negeri 4 Salatiga

Bullying is a serious issue in schools that negatively affects students’ psychological Bullying is a serious problem in the school environment that impacts the psychological and social development of students. Based on the results of initial observations at SMP Negeri 4 Salatiga, it was found that students' understanding of bullying is still limited, moral awareness is relatively low, and the use of gadgets is not balanced with good digital ethics, thus potentially triggering bullying behavior. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide a solution by strengthening students' moral education in the form of educational seminars. The method used is a participatory and educational approach through interactive lectures, discussions, and case studies, involving students as the main participants, teachers as facilitators, and lecturers and students of the MBKM Teaching Assistance Program as activity implementers. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the concept and impact of bullying, as well as a growing moral awareness reflected in attitudes of empathy, tolerance, responsibility, and ethical interactions, both in person and through digital media. This activity also has an impact on creating a safer and more harmonious school environment, so it can be concluded that moral education through seminars is effective as an effort to prevent bullying and build adolescent character.
