However, this isn't easy to achieve in the field at present, including at Don Bosco Catholic Junior High School in Semboro. One reason is that the academic community struggles to obtain engaging teaching materials. One way to solve this problem is by designing teaching materials. To solve this problem, the community service team proposed providing Canva usage training for the academic community of Don Bosco Catholic Junior High School in Semboro. This training is conducted using the demonstration method. The first step was to provide detailed instructions for accessing Canva accounts and using its various features. The next step was to have participants practice using Canva to create engaging teaching materials. The results of this training using the demonstration method show that participants were able to produce engaging teaching materials in Canva by the end of the training.
2026-01-12T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Fadilla Purwitasari, Ricky Angga Ariska, Sarah Yuliarinihttps://journal.nurscienceinstitute.id/index.php/tintamas/article/view/2802Meningkatkan nilai tambah perekonomian lokal melalui pengembangan agrowisata dan inovasi produk jambu di Ngargoyoso Karanganyar2026-02-14T11:37:39+07:00Heni Susilowatiheni@stiestekom.ac.idTitin Hargyatniheni@stiestekom.ac.idRatnaningrum Ratnaningrumheni@stiestekom.ac.idPemilia Sulistyowatiheni@stiestekom.ac.idJaelani Jaelaniheni@stiestekom.ac.idAsnawi Hidayatheni@stiestekom.ac.idKusna Djati Purnamaheni@stiestekom.ac.id
This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to increase the value added of Puja red guava and strengthen farmers’ independence in Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar Regency, through the development of agrotourism, innovation in processed products, and the implementation of marketing strategies. However, red guava production has the potential to support local economic growth, but marketing remains dominated by fresh fruit sales and dependence on middlemen, resulting in low economic returns for farmers. This program applied a participatory approach consisting of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Participatory Action Research (PAR), and Community-Based Research (CBR). SWOT analysis was used to assess the sustainability of Puja Red Guava Agrotourism. The PkM program findings indicate that strengths in raw materials availability and product uniqueness, while weaknesses include managerial capacity and limited market access. External threats include price fluctuations and the conversion of land into restaurants. However, the development arises from advances in digital technology, the use of social media, wider marketing reach, and government support for MSME development. Overall, this program demonstrates strong potential for business diversification, increased bargaining power, and sustainable agrotourism development in Ngargoyoso.
2026-02-18T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Heni Susilowati, Titin Hargyatni, Ratnaningrum Ratnaningrum, Pemilia Sulistyowati, Jaelani Jaelani, Asnawi Hidayat, Kusna Djati Purnamahttps://journal.nurscienceinstitute.id/index.php/tintamas/article/view/2637Penguatan promosi pariwisata Desa Wisata Kandri melalui pelatihan pembuatan booklet informatif2026-01-04T20:50:13+07:00Naila Rohmahnailarohmah@live.undip.ac.idAlfin Rosyidhaalfinrosyidha@live.undip.ac.idNabyla Rizky Putri Handayaninabylarizkyputrihand@students.undip.ac.idAssita Hilda Putri Assivaassitahildaputriassi@students.undip.ac.id
This community service project aimed to improve the capacity of Kandri Tourism Village residents in promoting local potential through digital booklet design training using Canva. Based on the results of initial observations at SMP Negeri 4 Salatiga, it was found that students' understanding of bullying is still limited, moral awareness is relatively low, and the use of gadgets is not balanced with good digital ethics, thus potentially triggering bullying behavior. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide a solution by strengthening students' moral education in the form of educational seminars. The method used is a participatory and educational approach through interactive lectures, discussions, and case studies, involving students as the main participants, teachers as facilitators, and lecturers and students of the MBKM Teaching Assistance Program as activity implementers. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the concept and impact of bullying, as well as a growing moral awareness reflected in attitudes of empathy, tolerance, responsibility, and ethical interactions, both in person and through digital media. This activity also has an impact on creating a safer and more harmonious school environment, so it can be concluded that moral education through seminars is effective as an effort to prevent bullying and build adolescent character.
2026-04-14T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Sari Famularsih, Elka Melviyana, Juzan Juzan, Binti Muflikah, Alfin Rosyidahttps://journal.nurscienceinstitute.id/index.php/tintamas/article/view/2621Peningkatan literasi bahasa inggris masyarakat Desa Wisata Kandri melalui pelatihan penerjemahan papan edukasi dan informasi2026-01-05T11:47:31+07:00Alfin Rosyidhaalfinrosyidha@live.undip.ac.idNaila Rohmahnailarohmah@live.undip.ac.idEka Nur Salsabilaekanursalsabila@students.undip.ac.idNabila Amelia Agathaameliaagatha@students.undip.ac.idNabyla Rizky Putri Handayaninabylarizkyputrihand@students.undip.ac.idAssita Hilda Putri Assivaassitahildaputriassi@students.undip.ac.idNabila Dzikrianabiladzikria@students.undip.ac.idToufy Schendikia Sholekhahtoufyschendikia@students.undip.ac.id
The community service aimed to enhance the English literacy of the Community-Based Tourism Group in Kandri Tourism Village by training them to translate local educational and informational boards into English. The program was implemented in several stages, including socialization, intensive training on basic translation concepts, tourism translation principles, cultural adaptation techniques, and hands-on practice translating 14 educational boards across the village. Participants received mentoring and editing support to ensure accuracy, naturalness, and contextual appropriateness of the translations for international tourism contexts. The results demonstrated significant improvements in participants’ skills, with meaning comprehension increasing by 32%, lexical accuracy by 28%, and the ability to produce informative translations by 35% based on pretest and posttest comparisons. The activity was implemented using a school-based, participatory approach and focused on utilizing the MBKM student send-off as an educational space, marked by the distribution of reading books by field supervisors to the school. The implementation method included coordination with the school, implementation of the student send-off activity, distribution of reading books, and observation of student and school responses. The results of the activity demonstrated student enthusiasm for reading books, the emergence of positive attitudes toward reading activities, and the school's commitment to utilizing books in the development of reading corners and sustainable literacy activities. This community service activity aims to provide digital marketing training to merchants mentored by the Salatiga Trade Office, assist two merchants in developing their digital marketing through social media, and help them create at least three pieces of digital marketing content. The activity consists of four stages: training, activity socialization, merchant profiling, and digital marketing development. The final two stages were conducted using a Participatory Action Research approach. The mentoring resulted in the creation of a professional Instagram account for the business, a Google Maps, a booklet, and two videos to be uploaded to Instagram. The mentoring also taught merchants how to upload photos and provide price tags to promote their products. This initiative will be implemented in several stages: lectures, demonstrations, mentoring, and training. The implementation procedure consists of the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results of this community service project indicate an increase in knowledge regarding used cooking oil (its definition, properties, and impacts) and an understanding of candle-making (tools and materials, production steps, and products that can be made from used cooking oil). Each of these aspects improved from 67.8% to 97.1% and from 13% to 100%.
