Therefore, this community engagement program aims to: (1) map household food security potential in the village, and (2) assist residents through aquaponics training to support sustainable household food supply. The program applies the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which focuses on identifying and analyzing community assets, including human, natural, and financial resources; infrastructure; and social and institutional networks. The results of this asset mapping are then developed using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) to plan an effective assistance strategy. Findings indicate that agricultural, livestock, human, and infrastructure assets strongly support improvements in food security. This study examines residents' perspectives on mural interventions and evaluates the effectiveness of measurement tools. The mural project took one month to complete, but preparation, including discussions with the community head, also required one month. Post-project surveys were gathered online via a Likert scale, employing a quantitative descriptive method. Item validity and internal reliability were assessed using item-total correlations and Cronbach's alpha. Twenty respondents participated in the survey. The instrument demonstrated strong reliability (α = 0.78) with 14 valid items. The findings indicate that the average perception across dimensions falls within the mid-range, with social interaction leading at 58.20%, followed by sense of ownership at 55.60%, revitalization evaluation at 55.32%, aesthetic perception at 55.00%, local identity at 54.60%, and community pride at 53.20%, which is the lowest. The findings indicate that murals effectively stimulate social interaction, though they have not yet fully realized their potential to build community pride. Practical implications involve enhancing theme curation rooted in local identity, engaging residents in maintenance, and creating regular activity programs to boost pride.
2025-12-05T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Siti Luzviminda Harum Pratiwi Setyawan, Sutarto Sutarto, Marinda Noor Fajrina Noviana Putri, Danang Purwanto; Muhammad Yusron Syakur, Muhammad Fadil Hidayatulloh Mukhrodinhttps://journal.nurscienceinstitute.id/index.php/penamas/article/view/2286Pemberdayaan masyarakat desa pulau harapan melalui inovasi produk Kemplang Tunu sebagai alternatif usaha kreatif2025-10-08T15:58:06+07:00Shevanova Putri Anjanishevanova50@gmail.comNaila Siti Azfashevanova50@gmail.comChelsea Luthfia Diinahshevanova50@gmail.com
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in Indonesia's economy, contributing more than 60% to GDP and accounting for 97% of the workforce. This community service program aims to empower local communities by advancing innovations in the production of animal feed pellets from agricultural and household waste. The activity was carried out through a participatory approach, including training and technical assistance. The results of the activity showed that the community was able to produce economical and nutritious feed pellets, and there was an increase in understanding of waste management as a means to create value-added products. This innovation not only reduced livestock operational costs but also contributed to waste reduction and increased community economic independence. In 2022, there were 135 cases in the Waingapu Community Health Center's work area, including Mbatakapidu Village. This raises the urgency of immediate action to address partner issues. Waingapu Community Health Center data show that 12 malaria cases were reported in 2020 and 58 in 2021. The main contributor to cases came from Mbatakapidu Village. Therefore, malaria promotion and prevention activities are focused on that village. The implementation method included pre-test, training, and post-test stages, using a hands-on (learning-by-doing) approach. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' abilities after the training. Based on the post-test results, all participants achieved scores in the "excellent" category (76–100), which initially ranged from "fair" (26–50). However, most MSME actors still face challenges in preparing systematic financial statements in accordance with accounting principles. Suboptimal financial management results in limited access to financing and hinders business development. Although Android-based devices are widely used, their utilization for financial recording and reporting remains relatively low. This community service activity is in partnership with the Bakoel Ibung MSME in Prabumulih City, which still records finances manually and has limited digital financial literacy. To address these challenges, this community service activity aimed to provide training on the use of an Android-based financial application, namely the Akuntansiku application, for Bakoel Ibung MSME. Through this activity, Bakoel Ibung MSME successfully implemented the Akuntansiku application in its daily business operations. Furthermore, the MSME demonstrated the ability to operate the application independently, starting from transaction input and account classification to the preparation of simple financial statements.
2025-12-29T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nelly Masnila, Siska Aprianti, Meilinda Dwi Anugrah, Tiara Meilinda, Ideta Adelia Rahmadi, Salsa Amanah Vintha Rihan
