Kesiapan Literasi Digital Mahasiswa dalam Menghadapi Disinformasi Digital

Digital disinformation had become a challenge in higher education information environments because students were active users of various digital sources and platforms. This study aimed to analyse the digital literacy readiness of IAIN Langsa students in dealing with digital disinformation based on information evaluation, digital technology use, and responsibility in digital spaces. This study employed a descriptive quantitative approach involving 118 IAIN Langsa students as respondents. Data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of 15 items representing the three research aspects. The data were analysed descriptively using mean scores, standard deviations, and score categorization. The results showed that students' digital literacy readiness was categorized as high, with an overall mean score of 3.94. Responsibility in digital spaces obtained the highest score (4.25), followed by digital technology use (3.93), while digital information evaluation obtained the lowest score (3.64). The ability to evaluate source credibility emerged as the relatively weakest aspect. The students had a strong foundation of digital literacy readiness, but strengthening information credibility evaluation was needed to enhance their resilience to disinformation. Higher education institutions and academic libraries were recommended to develop practice-based digital literacy programs focusing on information verification and source evaluation.

Perancangan penambahan fitur streaming channel televisi ekonomi pada SLiMS

The development of information technology has encouraged libraries to improve digital services in order to provide faster and more relevant access to information. However, the digital library system at the Bank Indonesia Library has not integrated live financial news streaming services to support users’ real-time information needs. This study aims to design live streaming features for CNBC Indonesia, IDX Channel, and Bloomberg within the SLiMS-based digital library system. The study employed the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design method using the Unified Modeling Language approach to analyze system requirements and produce a streaming feature design. Data analysis was conducted through the identification of user needs, system architecture analysis, and evaluation of feature compatibility with the existing platform. The results showed that the streaming feature could be integrated into the SLiMS system to facilitate access to real-time financial news and information. The study concluded that the integration of streaming services has the potential to improve information accessibility and strengthen the role of digital libraries as providers of up-to-date financial information. Future research is recommended to focus on implementation testing and user experience evaluation.

Peran Pengorganisasian Program Literasi Berbasis Masyarakat untuk Mendukung Pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The sustainability of community-based literacy programs is strongly influenced by the effectiveness of organizational management, particularly the implementation of the organizing function. This study aims to analyze the role of the organizing function in sustaining community-based literacy programs at Rumah Pintar Punggur Cerdas, Kubu Raya Regency, and its contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Informants were selected through purposive sampling, while data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings reveal that a clear division of responsibilities, a formal organizational structure, delegated authority, and continuous volunteer capacity development constitute the primary factors supporting the sustainability of the literacy program. Nevertheless, the limited number of permanent volunteers, reliance on internship students, and inadequate learning facilities remain significant challenges that require attention. The study concludes that the organizing function serves as a fundamental pillar in establishing sustainable governance for community-based literacy programs while strengthening the contribution of community organizations to improving the quality of education, expanding equitable access to literacy services for all members of society, and fostering collaborative partnerships to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Societal Altmetrics Impact of Research Publication on Academia and ResearchGate: Scientometric Citation Analysis

Social websites serve as a unique, quick, and sometimes early indicator of research visibility that supplements conventional citation measures, according to a comparative scientometric examination of the societal impact of research articles on social websites (typically evaluated using Altmetrics). Social impact gauges instant attention, engagement, and reach among the public, policymakers, and other researchers, whereas academic influence is determined by long-term citations. Research and Review articles typically reach a wider audience in the professional or public sphere, as evidenced by their better social impact (higher Altmetrics scores) compared to original research publications. In this study, researchers examined the various social effects of research platforms, i.e., Academia and ResearchGate. This study's goal is to investigate how websites could provide these services for handling research data and integrating all networks to provide the data. The significance of distributing and preserving research data and daily citations is monitored by their respective geographical areas, views of citation, styles of access, utilisation of time, Countries, Cities, Universities, and the title of the research. Jobs, reading pages, and search engines are used for downloads and views. Many users use ResearchGate for the dissemination of their research works. But compared to other research websites, the Academia webpage is very important and user-friendly, keeping user data in a multidimensional view and tracing out their details at any time. The researchers advised everyone to benefit from Academia and keep their research data in Academia for more advantages in future endeavours. It shows that most of the users are going to use the Academia website to keep their research records in Academia in future because of the continuous development and enhancements in this search engine. ResearchGate is a free and well-established platform for researchers; everyone can benefit from it.

Sense of Place among Students in a Multi-Functional Library Building Setting: A Study at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar

This study analyzes students' sense of place toward the library of UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar, which occupies the second and third floors of the Integrated Lecture Building (Gedung Kuliah Terpadu) on Campus II — a building that also serves as classrooms, the LPPM office, a communication center, an auditorium, and a podcast room. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through field observation and in-depth interviews with active library users selected through purposive sampling. Findings show that students build sense of place through three main dimensions: physical-spatial, functional, and social. Contrary to initial assumptions, the multi-function building context does not weaken the library's sense of place; rather, it actively strengthens users' attachment through a contrast effect between the library's quietness and the surrounding rooms' liveliness. The third-floor thesis collection introduces a distinctive temporal dimension, forming a layer of attachment that extends beyond mere physical experience. This study contributes to the theoretical understanding of the library as a place within an integrated academic building setting.
