The method used is a participatory approach, with teachers actively assisting students, and photo documentation is used as observation material during the activities carried out directly in the school environment. This activity is participated in by all students from grades 1 to 6. The results of the activity show an improvement in student discipline, especially in punctuality, personal and environmental cleanliness, and polite and orderly behaviour during Dhuha prayers. In addition, students become more aware of their spiritual and religious responsibilities at school. Through the routine practice of worship, this activity can also strengthen the relationship between teachers and students and create a religious and conducive learning atmosphere. This program is expected to be implemented continuously with the support of the school and teachers to cultivate a positive discipline culture and religious character in students from an early age. In addition, the habitual practice of performing congregational Dhuha prayers also serves as a means for comprehensive character development of students, instilling values of responsibility, obedience to rules, cooperation, and exemplary behaviour through religious activities carried out together in the school environment.
Risa Nursafitri Ngainur Raviani Muhammad Asa Khoirudin Marisa Fran Lina Copyright (c) 2025 Risa Nursafitri, Ngainur Raviani, Muhammad Asa Khoirudin, Marisa Fran Lina https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-12-21 2025-12-21 2 3 103 110 10.53088/jsel.v2i3.2593 Penerapan metode multisensori untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pada siswa UPT SD Negeri 7 Gresik https://journal.nurscienceinstitute.id/index.php/jsel/article/view/2551
This study aims to improve students' reading ability by applying the multisensory method at UPT SD Negeri 7 Gresik. The multisensory method involves the senses of sight, hearing, movement, and touch during learning activities. The research subjects were four third-grade students with reading difficulties. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The intervention was carried out six times using media such as letter puzzles, flour media, reading practice books, and cardboard boards. The results showed that the multisensory method helped improve students' reading ability, especially in recognising letters, combining syllables, and reading fluently. However, each student showed different levels of improvement depending on their initial ability and participation during the intervention. The multisensory approach made the learning process more concrete, interesting, and interactive for students.
Erviana Vina Noer Suci Endah Copyright (c) 2025 Erviana Vina, Noer Suci Endah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-12-21 2025-12-21 2 3 111 119 10.53088/jsel.v2i3.2551 Analisis strategi pembelajaran berhitung menyenangkan menggunakan media kelereng pada siswa sekolah dasar https://journal.nurscienceinstitute.id/index.php/jsel/article/view/2623
This article examines strategies for basic mathematics learning, particularly counting, designed to be enjoyable through the utilization of marbles as visual and interactive tools. The research aims to analyze enjoyable counting learning strategies using marbles to enhance engagement, motivation, and understanding of basic numeracy concepts among early elementary school children. The method employed is a descriptive, qualitative approach, with in-depth interviews with teachers and students. The results indicate that marbles provide contextual and enjoyable learning experiences that encourage counting activities and align with constructivist and game-based learning theories. This strategy also contributes to the development of affective aspects such as self-confidence and cooperation. In conclusion, this strategy proves effective as an innovative alternative in early mathematics education, with recommendations for broader implementation in school curricula for more inclusive and engaging learning methods.
Paramitta Purbosari Mila Puspita Sari Dinda Widya Hardanti Anggit Dwi Widiyanto Copyright (c) 2025 Paramitta Purbosari, Mila Puspita Sari, Dinda Widya Hardanti, Anggit Dwi Widiyanto Winarti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-12-30 2025-12-30 2 3 121 130 10.53088/jsel.v2i3.2623
